Meditation comes in many forms. Learn how you can incorporate these techniques into the various moments of your day.
Yoga Nidra, or “yoga sleep,” is a state of deep relaxation - focusing on breathing, relaxation exercises and meditation. It’s a great way to end a busy work week and help with poor sleep patterns, chronic stress, or “stuck” patterns of thought.
Friday nights just got more interesting. Don’t be fooled by this sacred dance - bellydancing is a full-body workout! Grab some friends and learn something new while you laugh and shimmy together.
Join Tracey after on the third Friday of the month to begin to develop your seated (meditation) practice. She will guide participants through a short asana practice to prepare the body for a guided meditation. After exploring various meditation techniques, Tracey will lead you through a restorative practice.
Join Lynn at Patone Cellars for a Mixed Level Vinyasa Practice followed by brunch. Participants will be guided through a 75 minute vinyasa flow practice. You don’t wan to miss this!
Yin represents the feminine, passive, reflective, and introspective aspects of life. Poses are typically more passive and held for longer periods of time, generally 45 seconds up to 2 minutes. More advanced practices might hold poses for as long as five minutes.
Beginning at the beginning, we will explore the supporting philosophies of Ayurveda, including Samkya and basic sanskrit. We will also discuss the ways that Yoga is considered the “sister science” of Ayurveda, and the ways in which they work together.
The Bhagavad Gita is an ancient text and practical guidebook to achieving spiritually clarity and health. This workshop explores its key teachings and what it means to get free. No prior study required.
