Gentle    Room temperature  72-78

Great for beginners and those looking for a gentle practice. We'll introduce core alignments, wavelike spinal movements, and the principles of flow. In this gentle class, breath awareness is developed as strength and flexibility increase. Bolsters, pillows and props can be used to ensure comfort and alignment. Safe and effective modifications are offered so students can easily design their practice to meet accommodate his/her energy and/or physical accommodations and needs.

Gentle/Restorative©    Room temperature  72-78

Approximately 30 minutes of gentle postures done from a chair or the floor, followed by restorative postures (passive stretching) utilizing various props such as blankets and bolster-type pillows.  The class will end each week with a stress management technique such as yoga nidra, progressive muscle relaxation, body scanning, or meditation. This class is perfect for those needing a slow and relaxing practice. This is a wonderful place for beginners to start. It is also the perfect compliment to any workout regime, recovery plan, or lifestyle. ALL levels of practitioners are welcome and encouraged to participate!

Gentle with Meditation   Room temperature  72-78

This class will begin with 30 minutes of a well-rounded gentle practice, savasana included, in order to properly prepare the body to sit or lie comfortably in meditation. We will transition with very basic breath work and 5 minutes of guided meditation followed by approximately 15-20 minutes of silent seated practice. Meditation provides so many healing benefits. This is an excellent way to close out a busy week and implement a ritual designed to quiet the mind and promote self-care.  All are welcome.

GEL (Gentle Evolving Level)©   Room temperature  75-80

A class designed for those ready to move from gentle practice into a deeper intensity/level of practice. Safe and effective modifications will be offered throughout practice to allow practitioners to control the intensity of his/her practice. Optional vinyasa flow and sun salutation segments will be offered.

Yoga for EveryBODY   Room temperature  75-80

This is a class with a focus on coming as you are. The vibe will be friendly and gentle with use of props as we feel led. A generous amount of kindness and appreciation for our bodies will be incorporated. Each individual will be encouraged and empowered to work honestly to meet his/her current needs. It will be highly adaptable and accessible to all. The class will include relaxation and mindfulness. Perfect for beginners, those feeling overwhelmed, anyone recovering from physical or emotional issues, and those who would benefit from a class that incorporates a lot of pose variations. All ages, shapes, and limitations are welcome. One of the class goals will be to foster a sense of community. Background music and singing bowls will be used.

Gentle Vinyasa Flow Room temperature  75-80

In this class, you will link conscious breath with deliberate and mindful movement. We will combine static poses with slow dynamic movement creating a seamless "flow" in an effort to create a moving meditation. Downward dog and sun salutations will be introduced into this class. Modifications will be offered. All levels welcome.

Nia with Julia Kline  Room temperature  75-80

Nia is a fitness fusion class blending yoga with the dance arts and the martial arts. A typical Nia class is experienced in your bare feet and moves through seven stages. First is stating the class’ purpose and intent, then stepping in, warming up, get moving, cooling down, floor play, and finally stepping out. It is a playful sensory experience, accessible to everyBODY, with joy as its guiding principle.  FOR AGES 14 AND OVER 

Yoga-lates with Tracy Machalek  Room temperature  75-80

Join in the beautiful pairing of Yoga and Pilates! This class is the beautiful pairing of two revered movement practices: Pilates and Yoga. Yoga-lates is a core focused class that pulls from the ancient asanas of yoga as well as the core centered movement of Pilates.You will flow through the fundamentals of both practices.There is an emphasis on lengthening and strengthening as well as cultivating a centered and focused mind.

MLV (Mixed Level Vinyasa)   Room temperature  78-82

A strong, flowing class that will provide a challenge to all levels of experience. While this class may not be suited for some beginners, modifications are provided. Please bring a towel!
*THIS CLASS IS FOR STUDENTS 15 AND OLDER

Ashtanga Immersion Series    Room temperature  78-82

Please join us during the month of February for early morning Ashtanga and this special series of classes. If you’re practicing Ashtanga and want to deepen your practice, or if you’ve always wanted to learn more about this system of yoga please join us beginning February 4th, Monday through Thursday from 6:00 - 7:15 am. Come to as many of the sessions as you'd like - use your class card to sign up for each class you attend. A led practice will begin at 6 am with the Ashtanga Yoga Invocation. Breath will be your guide and modifications will be offered. This immersion is for all levels.

Short Form Ashtanga    Room temperature  78-82

This class is for the Ahstanga-curious and the Ashtanga- experienced. You will be led through a short form practice where you will have the freedom to move at the pace of your breath and experience. Safe and effective modifications will be offered throughout the entire practice. Although this class is for all practitioners, some yoga experience is helpful. Click here to register.
*THIS CLASS IS FOR STUDENTS 15 AND OLDER

MLA (Mixed Level Ashtanga)   Room temperature  78-82

Primary series of modern-day Ashtanga vinyasa yoga followed by relaxation. Occasional introduction of 2nd series postures. *PLEASE NOTE: This class is not for beginner students. It is recommended that you some knowledge of the Ashtanga Vinyasa system of Yoga. Although we do our best to offer safe and effective modifications throughout class, the class moves at a quicker pace than the full primary series offered on Saturday morning due to the hour-long format. 
**THIS CLASS IS FOR PRACTITIONERS 15 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER.

Full Primary Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga    Room temperature  78-82

A 1 hour and 45 minute full primary series practice. Please come hydrated and fueled. Bring a towel.
NOT FOR BEGINNERS or anyone unfamiliar with ashtanga vinyasa yoga primary series.
This class is specifically geared to students with a working knowledge and regular practice of the Primary Series and is NOT designed for the instruction of the series.
The purpose of this class is for each student to expand the breath in the posture in order to explore the philosophy of Yoga (Ashtanga Yoga) within the limits of one's personal practice of asana and pranayama (ashtanga vinyasa yoga). 
*YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 15 YEARS OF AGE TO PRACTICE THIS SERIES*

Sunday Funday   Room temperature  75-80

Are you frustrated trying to figure out that one pose? Do you get distracted in your practice because you think you're "not doing it right?"  Super curious about learning how to safely begin to work on an arm balance? Join us one Sunday afternoon a month as we "workshop" and break down poses and answer your questions about all things yoga.

With slow moving physical poses and relaxed breathing techniques, Tai Chi helps you focus and relieve everyday stress while building energy.
